Morning we will visit Kufri. Situated near the Himalayan range, Kufri is a picturesque hill station situated 20 km from Shimla. Founded in 1819 by the British, the popularity of the hill station as a tourist spot grew only in the last few decades. Kufri derives its name from ‘Kufr’ which means lake.
You can visit Viceregal lodge (closed on Monday) which is 6 story structure and is a centre for advance studies. Also drove upto Jakhu Temple. This place is the highest point of Shimla. There is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman – the monkey god. Visit St. Micheal’s Cathedral on the Ridge, which is the second oldest church in north India and is known for its fine glass windows.
